1  Introduction to David Hume


Hume's most famous philosophical writing is 'A treatise of Human Nature' was published in 1737, but it flopped, "falling stillborn from the press". Later, Hume rewrote the treatise calling it 'An Enquiry concerning Human Understanding'. It is this work that we will be studying.

There are two parts to this section :

  • The themes

There is also a major difference between the course for Higher and for Int 2.
