 2 Introduction
to René Descartes
Descartes is one of the world's best known Philosophers. Although, few
can identify him to his work. Many have heard the phrase "I think,
therefore I am" but few people know that it was Descartes who is
responsible for giving the world this idea.
Above anything else Descartes was a man of ideas. In this section of
the work you will explore the ideas which Descartes has left us through
his work "The Meditations".
As there was for Hume, there are two parts to this section -
